16th May 2001, Happy Harold waits outside the White Rock Theatre to take the Mayoral Party to the Marina Pavilion for a civic reception after the mayormaking ceremony.

10th June, Happy Harold picks up the 3rd Bexhill (St.Michael's) Cub Scouts for a day out at Bodiam Castle

8th July Happy Harold takes pride of place at the BBX  in Bexhill, this event was organised by Bexhill Museum to celebrate the centenary of public transport in Bexhill. Happy Harold starred in Meridian TV's news feature that evening.

The weekend of 7th / 8th July was a busy one for Happy Harold, we were also running in Hastings for the two days as part of the Shorething Sea Festival.

4th August, Gary and Suzanne get married at Pett Methodist Church. Gary's Grandfather was the last conductor to work Happy Harold before it was converted to diesel.

10th August, Happy Harold appears for the Pett Rescue Boat, sorry, no pictures.
August Bank Holiday Weekend Happy Harold appears at the annual Festival of Transport at Hellingly but without a photographer.

The Weekend of 1st & 2nd September saw the Gala Weekend celebrating the 150th anniversary of the opening of the Tunbridge Wells to Robertsbridge  Railway line with celebrations at the Hastings terminus. We were out and about showing visitors a small part of our historic town

The mayors of Tonbridge (left), Tunbridge Wells (centre) and our own Mayor together with top people from the railway also enjoyed a short tour of the town

and later Monster's Drums from the Hastings Borough Bonfire Society (seen here getting sorted out on the top deck) once again regaled the town with a display of drumming on the move.
