ADVANCE NOTICE OF PARKING RESTRICTIONS IN ALL SAINTS STREET AND THE HIGH STREET ON 6TH AUGUST 2016

PLEASE NOTE THAT ALL RESIDENTIAL PERMIT AND METERED PARKING BAYS WILL BE SUSPENDED FROM 3.00PM UNTIL 11.00PM.
DISPLACED PERMIT HOLDERS ARE REQUESTED TO PARK IN OTHER PERMIT ZONES FROM 12.00AM SATURDAY 6TH UNTILL 9.00AM ON SUNDAY 7TH.
VEHICLES PARKED IN ANY SUSPENDED PARKING BAYS WILL BE REMOVED AND HOTCA ARE UNABLE TO ACCEPT ANY LIABILITY FOR DAMAGE HOW SO EVER CAUSED.

PRAM RACE

3RD AUGUST 2016

CARNIVAL PROCESSION

6TH AUGUST 2016

The above annual events will take place around Hastings Old town during Hastings Old Town week being the first week in August. To allow the events to take place safely road closures have been granted and will be put in place.

Wednesday 3rd August – Pram Race. Road closures will be implemented between 6.00pm and 11.00 pm (18.00 – 23.00) and covers all roads in Hastings Old Town and the A259 along the seafront from the junction between Harold Road and Old London Road to the Iceland roundabout near Pelham Crescent Permit parking is not effected though we do request that cars are not moved/driven during the road closure times.

Saturday 6th August – Carnival.  Road closures will be implemented between 3.00pm and 11.00 pm (15.00 – 23.00) and covers all roads in Hastings Old Town and the A259 along the seafront from the junction between Harold Road and Old London Road to the Iceland roundabout near Pelham Crescent

Please comply with the parking and permit suspensions between 3.00pm and 11.00pm on Carnival Day, 6th August, in High Street and All Saints. Permit holders in Zones B & F, can park in other parking permit zones up to 9.00am on Sunday 7th.

Vehicles parked in suspended parking/permit bays will be removed and Hastings Old Town Carnival Association or Hastings Borough Council Parking Services will not accept any liability for any damage however so caused. Lifted cars will be relocated to the Bourne
