After paying all the expenses of running the carnival in 2010 over £4,000 of the money collected was distributed amongst local good causes – including the RNLI who also won the trophy shield for the largest amount collected (£1054.81), Other lucky recipients included Coastguards , St John Ambulance, Red Cross Fire & Rescue, H & ST L Life Guards, Royal British Legion, Gizmo Theatre Group, Hastings Coastal Twirlers, Dragonflies take Flight, 2nd Hastings Brownies, 2nd Hastings Rainbows, Senlac 1066 Highsteppers, Youth University, Hastings Shopmobility, Sara Lee Trust, Huntingtons Association, Hastings Trolley Bus, Hastings West Hill Boxing Club, Salvation Army Triple 20's Club, Ore Kidszone (Salvation Army), Association of Carers , Surviving Christmas , AYME, Penny Beale Memorial Fund, Xtrax, Inseminate, FOCUS on Mental Health, Two Towers Trust, Autism Sussex, St Michael's Hospice, Hasting /Rother V.Assoc for the Blind, Hospital Radio, Mencap, Hotshots, Hastings Gateway Club, Seaview Project, Parchment Trust, Samaritans, Crest Playgroup, Rock-a-Nore Football Club, Bohemia Counselling Group, Safe Space and Torfield School.
