1999's "invasion" by Mayday Run bikers was the largest to date, with an estimated 15,000 bikes on display from the Old Town to the pier.
Note the OAP (centre) walking in complete safety (Perhaps she's a Hell's Granny?)
Most bikes (and Trikes) were parked in the specially reserved car park in front of Hastings Castle. That's Hastings Pier in the background.
More Bikes in the newly pedestrianised Town Centre
More bikes in the Old Town, that's the historic "Capel's House" in the background - he was the first person in England to build a house at the seaside overlooking the sea!!
I like Trikes, especially car engined ones
What DO you call something with FIVE wheels and handlebars. This monster has a Ford V6 engine and transmission
